NOTICE

Imported boats from countries outside the EU must carry a DTI post construction assessment and CE plating certification. Riviera Boats can carry out the fundimental instalation required to qulify for these certificates. All boats imported must have, by law, a CE plating certificate. Since 2005 any boats not plated ( boats of any age) must have all relevant inspections carried out by a DTI approved body.

Boat owners without these are risking prosecution and it is unlawful to both use or sell a boat not certified. For more details and proceedures call our helpline to find out more on the process of having your boat CE approved. Advice is available through ourselves at Riviera Boats and we are able to guide you on what coarse of action you should take and the timescale. If you own an imported boat you should check that all documentation is in order.
